Jeff,
I like the three times a day idea. Certainly makes sense regarding
the ferret's metabolism.
How close to the 8 hours is necessary? By the time I leave for work
and get home there will be an interval that will end up being 9 to 10
hours instead of 8; think this will impact the meds much?
Think I should go ahead and give Fozzy his 12 hour dose tonight or
just figure the time frames and start him on the 8 hour dosing? If
the vet needs "contacting" before changing the dose time frames I'd
have to do the 12 hour dosing tonight's and tomorrow's.
He is eating pretty well and quite often. He's been waking to teeter
off and go potty. I assist him and keep him from careening into
things. After he goes potty (just pee so far, except for one poop this
a.m.) he devours more soup. WE started a second soup cube already!
Lynn,
I found another paper in the medicine bag it says the medicine
is "Prednislone" (yet the label on the bottle says "Prednisone") and
lists 5mg/5ml.
I've read there is a difference between the two meds. Any idea from
outward appearance which one is which? This med is slightly pale pink
and clear fluid.
Mismatched info straight fro the vet's office - just what I needed!
Thanks, Kim
