Kim - I don't know if it would make a difference in the dosage or not but I think I'd be phoning the vets office ASAP and finding out for sure what you are giving him. Prednisone or Prenilosone, - they are similar except I believe the Prednisolone bypasses the liver. I'm sure someone else would be able to explain it more clearly.
