What were the symptoms in her?
Did you have an MRI done before surgery to confirm the problem or
right to exploratory?
Why would the repair they did only last a few months rather than speed
healing or provide a permanent response?

generally assumed the worst when she went in, she was only 10 months
old. she's recovered, but i agree if there is hindleg weakness your
ferret probably has other issues associated with it. i'd have
bloodwork done especially if shes 2 years old and an ultrasound,
assuming you haven't already it will aid in the the process of
figuring out whats wrong sooner.
