Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: one leg lameness in rear, no break on xray..what's wrong?

What were the symptoms in her?
Did you have an MRI done before surgery to confirm the problem or
right to exploratory?
Why would the repair they did only last a few months rather than speed
healing or provide a permanent response?

ounces worth when they drained it she looked like a different ferret.
after bloodwork was inconclusive she had an ultrasound. the next day
she had surgery removed the kidney which turns out had to do with a
mistake they made in her neutering they tied off her kidney. i
generally assumed the worst when she went in, she was only 10 months
old. she's recovered, but i agree if there is hindleg weakness your
ferret probably has other issues associated with it. i'd have
bloodwork done especially if shes 2 years old and an ultrasound,
assuming you haven't already it will aid in the the process of
figuring out whats wrong sooner.
