Mostly by close observation of food /water intake activity level,
posture etc..
If you have been instructed by your Vet in the use of a glucometer to
check blood sugar, then the readings in combination will help you to
determine the pred level.
It may take days or weeks,as well as repeated blood work by the Vet to
even him out with the meds.
