Hello Emily,
My name is Christina, i am no expert and am still learning about my
fuzzies.
I did read about Phoebes symptoms and thought "my Walter has some of the
same things going on!" I had asked my vet (they know me by heart) about
the tooth grinding and they mentioned it had to do with their stomach
being upset. My ferret was taken to the vet no ulcers known of - he did
have insulinoma and adrenal surgery.
i have a ferret soup recipe given to me from my vet containing vitamins
and medications (copied out of some ferret book) with a few changes and
Walter considers it was a treat. if youd like to try this soup out -

as far as the bump on Phoebes head, Walter still has his - its been
about a yr and a half. i was paranoid thinking he needed surgery to
remove it from his head - but when i took him to the vet they said it
was just mass cell (extra skin) . does not bother him, and there is no
hair there either . his occasionally bleeds - maybe b/c of my other
ferret grooming him or himself picking at it? but it does not seem to
bother him at all. best wishes
