Ferretone is good for her, but too much could and will cause diarrhea. Just give her a little each day, and skip the days when she has diarrhea. You could try a little Ferretvite daily, too.

Raisins, peanut butter, and other sweets are not good for ferrets, and are particularly bad for a ferret that may have insulinoma. They should be on a diet of meat and meat by products, such as in a good quality kibble. Ferrets are oblgate carnivores - they need to eat meat, and can have a hard time digesting non-meat products. It is also believed by many people, including myself, that grains and other carbohydrates are a cause of insulinoma. Lower quality kibbles have more grains in them (corn, rice, wheat, etc), and can contribute to causing insulinoma.

There are a lot of websites to learn more about ferret. care. You seem to want to learn, and that is the most important part.
