Subject: [ferrethealth] Lymphosarcoma

I've been watching the dosing of ferrets with prednilosone with interest as Porthos is presently on this for lymphosarcoma. His dosing is 2.5 ml once daily of pms-prednisolone 5mg/5ml I've noticed that there is some improvement but considering the vein of splitting doses so that they get an am and pm dose, should I be giving him this in 2 doses?
Porthos weighs in at 2.4 lbs. My vet said that she knows that this is a lower dose, but will increase this as needed or if adviced.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
