I have two males that have also gone thru the same thing. One was diagnosed with Adrenal Disease, which is correctable, and the other came back with nothing wrong at all. I am still concerned because he is almost at the point that there is no hair on the tail left, but they ran a test that was sent to the Tennessee Panel and he came back perfectly fine. I do not want to freighten you at all, but the one that did get diagnosed with Adrenal Disease is also the most active, and most adventurest of them all, but the fur on his tail was completely gone. He is like the Energizer Bunny, but his battery never runs out. I can tell you that I also have two females that tails have thinned out quite a bit also, but seem quite normal, so maybe its a time of year or a sign they are getting too much light as someone had mentioned on here once before. Hope I may have helped a little.

Hello everyone I have a 2 yo male. That for the past few weeks has been losing his tail hair. It is very thin ,BUT he is eating, drinking, playing, and sleeping fine. As a matter of fact he is the more active one in the bunch of 4 that I have, and my most adventurest too.(aka problem child) There have been no changes in food. His poo and pee are good nothing runny or discolored. I started giving him vitamins, will that help? He is in good condition and health, just his hair is thining? I have heard this is the sign of a major problem, but he is not showing any other symptoms, all in all he is great! Thanks for your input G' and the Fantastic 4
