Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferrets having worms
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Another ferret owner I keep in touch with contacted me today very
concerned that her ferret has worms. She said that her baby keeps
rubbing her rear end along the ground and wanted to know if I could
recommend anything for her to give her ferret. I made sure to mention
to her that it was normal for ferrets to drag their rear ends after
they are done doing their business and not to be concerned if that was
the case, but I told her I would mention it in the group in case hers
is doing it more often then just after they do their business. Have any
of your babies had this problem and what type of medication would
recommend? Thanks in advance, Irene
