Hi Joan,

I take "Advair" and don't notice any particualr taste, but do rinse my
mouth. As far as medicating Fozzy, I am dosing him orally with straight
Pred -(whatever. Then I offer him some food directly afterwards.

He has regained enough strength that he is no longer interested in soup
and pushes it away, in favor of his Totally Ferret Turkey/lamb/venison
kibbles. He crunches away merrily and then gets a drink and finally
curls back up in his cozy.

Actually giving the med, I scruff him quite firmly and rest his hips in
my lap so he is facing me. Hold him at about a forty five degree angle
and then slowly squirt the liquid between his rear molars; I don't let
loose of his scruff until I see him swallow, then I rub his throat to
encourage more swallowing and then I release his scruff, apologize to
him and cuddle him as he eats.

His strength improves with each dosing, as do his objections. I'm not
certain if mixing the med at this point, with baby food or soup would
actually get it into him any easier, or just offer more body to the
meds and a chance for him to spit it out.

Right now he isn't able to spit any out or shake his head free from the
scruff. I may have to modify this as his health(IF his health) improves.

Thanks!
Kim
