Fozzy IS offered food and does eat right after a dosing of pred.
I've put his food dish right next to his cozy, to encourage frequent
eating and make it easy for him to do so.

Breakfast in bed served all day long, so to speak.

He can reach his food and his water right from his cozy! Which he
does. He will exit his cozy to go potty, but then climbs back in.

Faylene is with him too and they groom each other. He seems more
alert now and will awaken when touched or spoken too and when I come
in the door.

The vet checked the ear gunk and said definitely mites, not a fungus.

He said to try the OTC stuff and if that didn't work he had some Rx
to use.

SO I am alternating swabbing with "Mita Clear" by Pfizer ( a cat ear
mite product), and Tea tree oil. So Fozzy actually smells quite nice!
I've checked everyone els'e ears, even Faylene's - and Fozzy is the
only one with them.

Fozzy's head tilt is reducing in angle too.

Regards, Kim
