Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lupron questions
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Dr. Cathy Johnson-Delaney has found that her Lupron approach worked for some where she
is located (extreme NW U.S. but has pointed out that she doesn't know yet if it will work at
other latitudes.

There are several things being studied to possibly reduce adrenal disease rates. The aim to
prevent the LH levels from increasing. (See another subject in today's FHL to lean more
about that.)

Currrently three meds are under study. One is still private, I think. The other two meds
under study are Lupron and Suprelorin (deslorelin).

When a med is under study it means there is reason to think it could work but it is being
studied to see if it really does work, how well it works, side effects, surprises, etc.
