Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] Evo??
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I found that there was a long period of adjustment to Evo added to the diet of a five year old ferret, upwards of four or five months, during which time I saw pudding stool. After that period of adjustment, things returned to normal.

I should add however that I feed a blend of Evo and Totally Ferret, now transitioning to a 50/50 blend of Evo and the new Totally Ferret Turkey-Venison-Lamb kibble, so my experience does not reflect that of a ferret owner feeding 100 percent Evo. I will add though that since adding the Turkey etc to my ferret's mix, he has had blue ribbon champion stools (that has got to be one of those things that only a ferret owner would say ;-)
