As others have said you will know from your ferret when it is time for that final gift of a
mercy shot.
Yes, if the urine can't drain it will become very painful; it will stress the bladder, back up and
cause very painful kidneys, and more, but if something works then you can go from there.
I am wondering if perhaps there is something additional going on like lymphoma in the
spinal cord (which can be hard to find).
