In all honesty, I really think you need to think of poor Koda's
quality of life. A ferret, being bound to not walking? How can a
lively, spirited animal be happy that way? I don't envy the position
you are in, but I think it sounds like you've done everything you
could, including sparing no expense, but it sounds like it's doing
nothing but prolonging his life, not increasing the quality of it.
Any ferrant that would put into a baby what you have, will always in
the end make the right decision for their baby. Good luck to you,
and my thoughts are with you.
