Koda's Mom,
I am a ferret owner and perform energy work on my ferrets, cat and
prior to her passing, my dog. At 13+ with epilepsy I was watching
for various concerns with regard to her daily functions. As things
started downhill I turned to a new vet in town who utilizes
acupuncture. We had two sessions and each seemed to perk my Copper
girl. The second however was short lived and two days later I took
her to be put to sleep.
What I did find was that this process allowed me to help her
transition her energies and mine as we separated from our lives
together here on earth. Her passing had a sweetness to it which I
believe is because of the energy bond we had.
I wish you the best in the decision that lies ahead. I try to remind
myself that it is not about me and the ferret it is about the
ferret. While I miss all mine that are at Rainbow Bridge, I try also
to remind myself that they came to earth in the package of a ferret
body. Koda's spirit lives on when he passes. We often see some of
our critters present in our home long after they have passed. It is
not uncommon to hear someway say, "I saw Copper on the big bed today.
(her favorite spot)or "Do you get the feeling one of the kids has
been her today?"
I have now made it a practice as the ferret is passing and prior to
that decision to tell them they are always welcome to come home to
visit. It's like the magic of Christmas, if you believe, they will
come home..........
