Subject: [ferrethealth] low cost Ferret neutering
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hello to all,

>From my last post after our Ferret passed we began looking for a
fuzzy to adopt/rescue. We found this more difficult than expected
since it looks like all the lil guys have good loving homes. We have
been communicating with a couple who will be moving out of state and
will not be able to take their critters with them. Problem is that
one is a 9mo old male and the other a 1.5 year old male who hafve yet
to be neutered. As much as we would like to take these guys into our
family spending 500 to 700 dollars for the neutering isn't affordable
to us at this time. We live in the West Central part of Florida south
of Tampa. Does anyone know of a friendly Vet that may be a little
less expensive? We know that the addage if you can't afford the vet
you can't afford the fuzzy. However in this economic times we don't
have that kind of disposable income. We are still looking to adopt
and would like a young female but these guys need a new home and we
want to help. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks
The Lowe Family (currently jonesing for a Ferret fix)
