Ferrets vary a LOT in how well they respond to Daizoxide.
We've had some who did well with it but it pays to have a
small amount compounded and then to try it for up to 6
weeks seeing if it is making a difference instead of buying
an entire bottle because for some others it just does not
appear to work.
The FHL Files section contains a list of compounding
pharmacies. May of them ship, too. The ones which are
most used to dealing with ferrets and which are professional
compounding pharmacies with vet clientele are more likely
to have Diazoxide (the generic of the more expensive Proglycem
-- and honestly the generic worked as well for us) and to have
better pricing due to regular use of the med
