I had a ferret that went from one extreme to another. He'd had very low
BG and was put on pred and it was like a new lease of life for him for a
few days. Then he crashed badly or so we thought. Scheduled surgery
and my vet did a BG check only to discover that his BG was as high as
Fozzy's. We went in to have a look and there were nodules all over his
pancreas and liver so we let him go. Dr Williams read the
histopathology report and the description of the tumours and said the
diagnosis was likely that of a malignant biliary neoplasm. Reading
about Fozzy reminded me of that.
