Subject: [ferrethealth] Koda's gone
I just wanted to let you l know that I chose to put Koda to sleep so
he wasn't in pain anymore. He passed in my arms at 6pm very
peacefully. I held him and we talked to him as he left. There were
many many tears from all of us, but I think he knew how much we love
him. I placed him a sleep sack that I made for him that had hearts
with wings on it so he could be transported to the crematorium in it.
I bought a wood box urn that had a tile on it with a cartoon picture
of a cloud with 3 ferets on it with wings, and it said "Another
Adventure". It reminded me of Koda always exploring something new. The
vets office was very nice to all of us blubbering family members. I
will be able to pick up his ashes next week.
I recieved so many posts and private e-mails regarding Koda, and I
want to let you know how much it helped me make the right decision. I
had so much support, prayers and loving wishes, it really helped me
alot. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
