Yes that's right, up to 10 years ago no vet the club contacted has seen Adrenal Disease in ferrets but since the upsurge in indoor pet keeping and feeding kibble we see it very occasionally. I would estimate about 1 in 10,000 ferrets at this time but it's on the increase. The use of sleeping hammocks is exactly the opposite of the old ferret housing idea of never house ferrets in sunlight and always have sold light proof sleeping boxes. Chris.
