The item I want to know more about is in the last paragraph of the
Insulonmia section where it says - paraphrased, "lupron injections may
be tried to help lessen prednisone dosages and raise blood glucose".
I have never seen that before and wondering if anyone knows more on
it. I have been looking for some alternative to lessen my girls pred.
dosage w/o luck. Her dose is still fairly low and mostly working
(though sometimes - rarely - we need to give 3 smaller doses instead
of 2 normal ones) however she is getting the pred. belly and losing
hair...plus I think it's contributing to her fading vision.
I'm excited about this possibility. Something my vet can mail order
for me and I just give myself.
