I could be wrong but to my knowledge ferrets don't NEED sugar of any kind and in fact it is not good for them. Being obligate carnivores their main dietary source is meat. JMO and I'm NOT a vet. If your ferret has Cardiomyopathy she is likely (or should be) on meds prescribed by your vet.
