Hi Lauren
I've used carnivore care, but only on very sick fuzzies. Only to maintain life. I don't know if it would put on weight but I don't see why it wouldn't. It's probably better than baby food, it has more fat and protein. It certainly saved my furbabies at the point that I needed it. I've heard that some people use limited amounts of whole cream to put on weight...I've never used it. I know that milk products are not usually good for carnivores but I've heard a number of successes using it. I'm not sure if I would use it on a furchild that has had recent stomach and bowel issues.

I am trying to get my ferrets to gain weight after recovering from
Giardia. They are not super underweight, but still smaller. Has anyone
used carnivore care? Would you recommend it? What other products
should I feed them? They get gerber Chicken Baby food mixed with
water, ferretzyme, and ground kibble. With there normal Wysong and
Innova food. I am also trying to get muscle mass back. The one I am
especially working on used to be 4 1/2 pounds, he went down to 2 1/2.
He is now between 3 and 3 1/2 pounds.
