I had one given to me a very long time ago that did just that. After a year,
I finally called a rescue. To cut a very long story short, HE WAS DEAF. He
is in a pernment foster home for deaf ferrets; so this had a happy ending
for him, not for me. I loved him to pieces!
Have him checked. Would make sense since he is only a few months old and
doing it probably his whole, entire little life.
