Do you know who the breeder is? My experience with polecat mixes is that
they have a rank odor, very different than the typical ferret musk
odor, Sully has the longer lanky body style, and the ones that I've
worked with that came from Rainbow World Exotics were biters, which is
why they came to me. If part polecat it will take more time to calm
and curb the biting but it can be done with gentle persistent training.

I've had good results with q-tips dipped in apple cider vinegar, swiping
it across my hands when holding them and gently swiping it in their
mouth when they bite while telling them "no biting". Beware though
that when the vinegar gets in open wounds it stings and most ferrets
scramble to get away.
