Has anyone ever seen what Ensure looks like after it sits for a few hours? It looks like clay and probably acts like it in the little guys' stomach, too.
I would personally suggest dropping the Ensure and getting Hill's A/D, and/or turkey baby food, and maybe Carnivore Care (for nutrients, not fattening) to get your little guy's weight up and for balanced nutrition. (Only my opinion.)
We also use a coffee bean grinder to make a powder of their regular dry food to mix in with our "duck soup" blend, with a little warm water added, of course, to make it a sort of "stew."
If they initially reject it, I add a few drops of Linatone (Ferretone) to get 'em started.
