Over the years I have had two ferrets with a strong odor, who were also bad biters (both males). In both cases, they were adrenal, and the biting stopped within 3 - 4 months after the surgery. However, the odor may be due to being whole or adrenal, and the biting due to other causes ... so I would think that you would benefit from investigating the adrenal angle, as one thing to rule in or out ....
