I have used ensure for well over ten years as a supoplement in soup
and somtimes right out of the can (bottle now). Yes I agree with
Suki that if a fret does have any milk allergies then it may have a
reaction to ensure but I myself have never seen any reactions to
ensure even with my big Angora boy who loved ice cream but had a
nasty intollerance to any milk products. He did not have any
problems with the ensure but better to be safe than sorry. Yes
ensure does have soy milk in it but it is not cows milk. I have not
used carmivore Care but heard it talked about at the Symposium in
Portland last year. I am sure it is a good product but I still use
ensure as it is readily available.
Someone also asked about ferret smells. I have one hob who is a bit
smelly at present due to being late in season but he is starting to
come out of season but it is Springtime now almost...LOL. As to
bitng there are many reasons to why they bite but if he isn't in
pain or afraid like being new to you, then it must almost certainly
be a behavior problem and can be over come with patience and love.
See Ferrets for Dummies on solutions to the biting problem. Thanks
kim...LOL
