You are starting to see what happens to most old ferrets, they get little growths, warts, loose teeth, go deaf and blind, their little bodies get arthritic. They are just like old cats and dogs and people. I've had several over 10 and you don't see much of them as they sleep 22+ hours a day. Be warned the dead ferret syndrome is perfect in very old ferrets, I had already dug the hole to bury a 12 year old hob when he opened his eyes and gave me a little kiss. About a month later there were no more little kisses, he had passed in his sleep. Chris.
