Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Young ferret dying of bronchitis? Help! --Mystery solved--

It actually is NOT terribly unusual for juvenile Lymphoma to be confused with leukemia so
the question on these ferrets becomes:
Was only a necropsy done or was there actual biopsy work by a veterinary pathologist who
is used to working on ferrets? The latter is the essential for knowing for sure. If a
veterinary pathologist who knew ferrets did pathology work I'd kind of expect an article to
have been created or to be created by the pathologist, even just an informative letter to a
vet journal. because as far as I know there has never been a pathology-confirmed case in a
ferret. except for a possible:

Large granular lymphocyte leukemia in a ferret.
