Okay, I just learned more, thanks to Dr. Bruce Williams.

In relation to the second description the 61,000 white count combined with "large, ugly
cells in the blood" which probably mirror what is in the affected organs does say
leukemia, but there CAN be

"leukemic juvenile lymphoma".

As I said just recently to a person who is new to ferrets we are all always learning; that
will forever be the way it is. Ferrets aren't just good for our physical health with the
activity they add, and our emotional health with the laughter and support they provide,
but also for our intellectual health since they keep us all learning. Live to learn and learn
to live.
