Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: hairball remedy

Ok now for the I am so stupid question...SIGH but with ferretone and
ferrelax what is the big difference, if you mix ferretone with
petroleum jelly for hairballs? I mean what else does ferretone do and
would you still need the lax if you mix tone this way? Also a friend
said to mix ferretone with olive oil half and half, does this keep the
coat shiny and help with the hairballs? Does it also cut down on the
sugar? And why is petroleum jelly not dangerous for them? It just
seems like it would not be good, that olive oil would be safer because
it is already a product that has food uses...I am sorry I feel so
stupid asking these questions. But I am trying to get my facts all
straight.
