Yes, unless you hear it it is hard to believe they can make that noise.
I have seen two ferrets do it without seizure, just out of fear. I
have also seen seizures with it as well. The difference is that the
ferret is awake and alert verses out of it and actually seizing or
posturing,etc. One was my own, He was so scared he started
'screaming' and it was a bird cawing sound that he made since the vet
next door over from the room he was in came in thinking a bird was in
the room.

It does sound like your little one had a seizure during the episode of
'screaming' so it is possible was from low blood sugar. Hard to guess
at this point, but with the description of the ferret's posturing it
is likely the ferret was having a seizure and would not have been
aware of anything going on around her.
