Thanks to all who've replied, your feedback is greatly appreciated!

They did blood work and found that he had 2 very elevated enzymes when
they checked liver. His white count was also elevated and they put
him on Baytril which he's almost finished. He's on Milk Thistle and
Zentonil for liver support and he goes in for another check in late
March.

He was admitted to the animal hospital for 2 nights on IV's and sub q
fluids. He's gained 180 grams in one week on the new diet, but I want
to talk to his vets about changing to something more acceptable. I do
know she wants him on lower protein to help the liver, but I feel like
many of you that it could lead to other problems if he stays on the
current food.

Thanks again!
