I am very allergic, so much so that my allergist doesn=A1=A6t even want to=

attempt the shots. I have also gone anaphylactic a couple of times so
I think I have enough experience in the allergy field =83=BA

She should really ask an allergist for his/her opinion and to have
her IgE level checked. If it=A1=A6s below 100 she does not have any
allergies and there maybe something else going on that is giving her
allergy-like symptoms.=20

If it is an allergy, In my experience it really depends on the
animal. Maybe she should go to a shelter and find one that doesn=A1=A6t
bother her allergies. When one of my ferrets even gets near my face I
start wheezing and sneezing and break out in hives. Now Mojave on the
other hand he can kiss me and get in my face and nothing happens.

It also, of course, depends on what kind of food she=A1=A6s planning on
feeding it, what litter she will use, and how often she cleans the
ferret=A1=A6s bedding.

There is an about.com article that addresses ferret allergies located
at:
http://allergies.about.com/od/animalandpetallergy/a/ferretallergy.htm

I=A1=A6ve never had an allergic reaction to cat=A1=A6s saliva. I have had
pasteurella from my cat=A1=A6s saliva when he bit me. Is that what she
means?
