It may not be seizures that you're seeing and the insulinoma may not
be what's causing the problem. Intestinal issues (ulcers,
lymphoma....which could also explain the diarrhea and
coughing....amongst other possibilities) will cause pawing at the
mouth as well. The only way to know if his glucose is the problem
would be to test during the episodes. I use the One Touch Ultra
glucose meter (recommended as most accurate by my vet), pricking the
tail tip for the blood sample (it's an easy bleed and painless). I
would suggest testing. If his glucose is not the issue I would suggest
a round of x-rays to check for other possibilities.
