Michael, I still have the pictures you sent me when I first found out
that my Sammy had cryptococcus. It helped a lot that you and Florence
Love both let me know that your were going through the same thing. It
is a horrible, horrible disease, and certainly not worth it for a
little bit of play time.
Unfortunately, it took about two years to properly diagnose Sammy.
The awful skin lesions showed up and a pathologist was finally able to
pin-point what it was. At that point, it was too late to save him.
