Subject: [ferrethealth] Autoimmune hemolytic anemia

My ferret Nutmeg was just diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia
and my vet says he has a couple months to live....
I've been looking for info all over the internet about it, but there
doesn't seem to be anything much out there for ferrets.
For right now he is on dexamethasone to see how he does on it, and we
will go from there. He is also on oral fluids because he always seems
to do better on them.
Does anyone else have any experience with this condition?
