Our Sasha (almost 7 years old) has been diagnosed with the same. She was
dangerously anemic but blood work indicated her system was continuing to
produce red blood cells. She was give a high dose of Pred daily for
several weeks. She is slowly coming back but still not as active as she
was before. We haven't discussed life expectancy at this point as our
main goal was to simply keep her alive to begin with.
Let me know how Nutmeg does.
