Sukie:

If you can remember, I'm curious: What were the blood values that were 'way off' that pointed to carcinoma of the pancreas rather than insulinoma? I ask because I've long suspected that we lost Neo to carcinoma of the pancreas, not insulinoma, as it was incredibly aggressive, and he only lasted about 7 weeks after having surgery despite our round-the-clock care. I do have his bloodwork and I'd be curious to re-check the values if you or someone else could suggest what to look for that might point to carcinoma.

Thanks,

Jeff

We had one who looked like she had insulinoma but WAY too much of her
pre-op blood work was way too off. She turned out to have carcinoma in
her pancreas. The blood work allowed us to avoid the surgery which was
the best thing for her terminal and very challenging condition.
