It's common to see prostate issues (enlargement, cysts) in males with
adrenal disease. These issues cause difficulty urinating and can lead
to complete urinary blockage. It sounds like this is what you're
seeing. If your vet isn't aware of the problem I would suggest you
contact him/her. If your ferret blocks it is a medical emergency, and
your ferret could very well block before Tuesday.
You might also consider lupron rather then surgery for treating the
adrenal disease. I, personally, would not be too quick to send a 7
year old into surgery. Just my two cents.
