Hi Karen,

We were told that Lupron, or Melatonin (which Sam is on) does not treat the
cancer - it just treats the symptoms. Yes he is old but otherwise in really
good health (until this apparent prostrate problem - which is probably from
the adrenal.), This is why we elected for the surgery. It is a risk. but
now, its obviously bothering him and its not going to get better I suppose.

Moderator - thank you on the note for super fries. Both ferrets get regular
administrations of ferretvite - it was the introduction of Super Fries that
seemed to do incredible things for Charlie's fur - the fries are listed as
being 100% protein. Both guys are old so we pamper them - they might as well
enjoy what they have left! (And pretty much they do!)
