I am sorry to read that he might have lymphoma, but glad that he has reached such
grand age so far and that it was not what it first looked like from the symptoms
combined with the blood test (which turned out to have errors imposed on the
results).

As to the sentence above, we had a ferret who had something wrong obviously
for a year with no test picking it up, and we even had multiple ultrasounds
done. The only thing not done was a marrow aspiration and test. Then one
day he presented acutely and had lymphoma in his chest. It wasn't JL; it had
been silently simmering and hidden for for that year according to two treating
vets. So, yes, that can happen. It did for Jumpstart.
