Not Sukie here, but I've had a similar thing happen. I adopted an
older male to a lady with an older female. He was my first, and only,
returned ferret. He attacked her private parts and she ended up having
to get stitches. The lady brought him back and I immediately adopted
him to a friend with several ferrets. There was never another problem
with him. It was my thought, at the time, that the female may have
been adrenal.
