Subject: [ferrethealth] Sam's operation (the one which we suspect has prostrate)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Sam is the star of the piddle everywhere posts. He made it through the
operation ok though he woke up slow. (I don't think the vet knows how
much this ferret -loves- to sleep!) We had to bring in Charlie to
donate blood because they found Sam to be a bit anemic in the blood
tests before the operation. Both went home with a technician overnight
to be watched. Apparently they were "clinging" to each other after he
operation. (They were cage mates I think from before they were at the
helter from where we addopted them from [the GCFA - greater chicago
ferret association]).

We should get the home today and will follow to make sure that Sam gets
the Lupron shot for the prostrate.

Chris
