Jeff,
A solid feel to the lower stomach area, accompanied by a blueish
tinge to the skin. In general, more of a "pear" shape to the
abdomen.
If you hold the ferret facing you the right side is where the
spleen is located. That side will feel very firm upon palpation by
comparison to running your hand down or palpating a ferret with no
compromise.
