I sit here and read everything on here and after about 9 years of
taking care of ferrets and several thousands of dollars later - I
don't think I have ever seen another animal that can have so many
diseases, etc. Sometimes I just don't get it and why it is these
little babies have so many problems. All I can do is just shake my head.

I feel as though the "puppy farms" that breed and rebreed and inbreed and then sell these beautiful creatures after "fixing" everyone WAAAY too young is a good place to start looking. How many small breeders here have ferrets that get sick with all these terrible issues? Am I alone here thinking this?
It would be an interesting fact to know but never will sadly.
