All kibbled food requires a binder to hold it together, whether it be
corn, or rice or potato or tapioca. Without a binding agent you just
have a powder. Some manufacturers, Natures Variety for one, are now
using tapioca as it is one of the few binders that have no known
allergy problems. If we want to feed a kibble diet I guess we will
have to choose the lesser of the evils as far as a binding agent goes.
