We are feeding Pretty Pets, Natural Gold (which is chicken plus pork)
and grinding it and mixing with Hills A/D canned food, from the vet
($1.25/ can) which is pork liver and chicken liver. This makes a
complete hi protein, low carb food with no supplements needed as the
kibble contains tuarine. Charlie eats it very readily and switched to
it fast after being finicky before.

Our 7.5 yo was swithced to it 6 months ago when we started treating for
insulinoma with prednisilone and also Lupron depot for the adrenal
disease. Now doing very well, not skaky any more in morning.
What's the down side to chicken products?
